Small Business Highlight | Granny Clampetts | Christmas Rendered 2021

Christmas Rendered has begun, and this year is a little different because we are highlighting Small Businesses. To encourage other designers to shop small this holiday season, Lauren Ashley Design will be highlighting small businesses throughout the country. I will say that these small businesses did not pay me to speak about their companies or ask for any collaboration. I saught these businesses out because I genuinely loved their mission and product. As I have said before, the Christmas Rendered event is not sponsored, and we do not have any additional help besides my husband and I. I hope you will support these curated businesses, and this post encourages you to shop small this holiday season.

Granny Clampetts

Located in Pilot Mountain, NCGranny Clampett‘s is where anyone from your local artisan to the home decor enthusiast or designer can feel right at home to find that perfect piece they didn’t know they were looking for.

Their Mission

Please step into Granny Clampett’s and remember what it was like to be at your Granny’s house. Remember always being welcome? Her beautiful cast iron pots and pans? Granny just had so many hidden treasures to look at that you could look and look and might still miss something good! At Granny Clampett’s, we want you to feel like you just stepped into a place that you can’t wait to return

Granny Clampetts was started by my father, Joseph Jenkins. He has spent his whole life in the retail industry, but his true love is curating timeless pieces that need a second life. As a little girl, I remember spending many weekends hunting for the best find with my family. After years of finding antiques and “hidden treasures,” my father has put together a store full of various vendors that supply anything from curated home decor antiques you can’t find anywhere else but the Blue Ridge Mountains.

How can you support Granny Clampetts?

1. Stop By!

My family would love to meet you in person at their location, Pilot Mountian, NC. Even if you are not in the area, designers (if you are headed to High Point) Pilot Mountain is only an hour’s way from High Point, and it is actually on the way if you are coming 52 south! I am sure they would love to meet you and tell you some stories! The charming little town is a great stopping point to take a breather and see what all the Blue Ridge has to offer.

2. Be Social!

Let them know your support via Social Media! Social Media is so important right now for small businesses. Show your support by sharing, liking, and commenting on posts.

3. Share, Share!

If you have resonated with my father’s store, share it with someone you know! If you know someone local, share it with them. I am excited to see my father’s dream grow, but like all dreams, it can only grow with the help of others.
